Proposal Requests Log
This page lists the proposal requests for the current project. Select the subject of a proposal request to view its details. External and internal (Project Center) users see the same information unless otherwise noted.
To only see proposal request actions assigned to you, select the My Proposal Request Actions log. To only see proposal requests which you are expecting or are expected from you, select the My Expected Proposal Requests log.
Proposal Request categories
Use the Proposal Request drop-down list to filter the list of proposal requests by category. The categories are as follows:
All
Displays all proposal requests that have been entered for this project.
Pending Incoming
Displays proposal requests sent via Info Exchange that need to be received in Project Center.
Under Review
Displays proposal requests that have been received, but responses have not been sent to the proposal request senders.
When a non-expected proposal request is first filed, it is placed in the Under Review category.
Awaiting Action
Displays proposal requests that have been received, but they:
● Have not been forwarded for review, or
● Have been forwarded for review, but a response has not been received, or
● Have been forwarded for review and all responses have been received, but there has been no response sent to the proposal request sender.
Forwarded for Review
Displays proposal requests that have been forwarded with a due date for another contact to review that you have not been received back yet.
Response Overdue
Displays proposal requests that have been forwarded for review but the responses back from the reviewers are overdue.
Expected
Displays all proposal requests filed as expected.
Expected Resubmission
Displays expected proposal requests that were created for proposal requests that require the sender to resumbit the proposal request (the action taken on the proposal request was Rejected or Revise and Resubmit).
Late
Displays expected proposal requests that are overdue.
All Closed
Displays all proposal requests that have had a response sent to the proposal request sender and there is no further action required.
Columns
Overdue
The icon displays to the left of proposal requests that are overdue. The icon displays to the left of proposal requests that are due in 8 days or less.
ID
The ID number of the proposal request.
Sender ID
The number the contractor gave to the proposal request.
Subject
The subject of the proposal request. Click to open the Proposal Request page to view its details.
Status
The current status of the proposal request.
Total Days
The number of days to process the proposal request. The count starts from the start date, which is either when the item was created or the received date, and ends either with the current date or when it was closed if a closed date was entered. If it is re-opened, it displays the count from when the proposal request was created. The total days count is based on calendar days (not business days) and does not consider holidays in its calculations.
Received
The date the recipient received the proposal request. The field also displays the proposal request purpose and who sent the proposal request.
Forwarded
The date the proposal request was forwarded. The field also displays the purpose for which the proposal request was forwarded.
Response
If a proposal request has been forwarded to you, select Respond to open the Send Proposal Request Response page. If a response has already been logged, then the date of the proposal request response, the action taken for the proposal request and the name of the user who sent the response are displayed.
Closed
The date the proposal request was closed. The field also displays the action taken for the proposal request and the name of the user who closed the proposal request.
Supporting Documents
Displays the number of supporting documents associated with the item. Internal users can access all supporting documents. External users can only access supporting documents that have been shared with external users.
There are two possible icons that may appear in the field:
Select to view the list of files attached as supporting documents. Select the link for a file to view it in the Newforma Web Viewer. If the filename is not a hyperlink, select the icon to open or save the file locally.
Upload Supporting Documents
Use this area to add supporting documents to the item.
This option is only available for internal (Project Center) users.
Add Files
Select to open the Choose File to Upload dialog box and select a file.
You can select multiple files using standard Windows Shift and Ctrl selection techniques.
Remove All Files
Select to remove all files selected for upload.
Drag-and-Drop Files Here
Drag and drop files directly from Windows to add them to the list of files to upload.
This option is only available if your browser supports the functionality.
Upload
Select to upload the files to the Supporting Documents field.
Select the image to send a request to the owner to repost the files. This occurs when the transfer item has expired.
Related Items
Displays icons for any project items related to the selected item. Click in the column to access the Related Items popup window, shown below. Select the hyperlink for a related item to view its details.
Log Page Tools
The following tools are available in the Proposal Requests log toolbar. For more information, refer to Log Page Tools.
Export
Select to export the items in this log.
Show/Hide Column Filters
Select to toggle on/off the column filters.
Show/Hide Group By Panel
Select to toggle on/off the group by panel.
Show/Hide Columns
Select to access Drag to Change Columns to add or remove columns from the log grid.
To access this page
From the toolbar, select View > Contract Management > Proposal Request.
