Insert Link dialog box

Use the Insert Link dialog box to insert a hyperlink into rich text fields throughout Info Exchange.

URL

Select the URL radio button to insert a URL link into the text field. The following fields are available when you insert a URL:

URL

The URL address for the link.

Display Properties

Set the options for how the link is displayed in the text field:

●        Text. The text that is displayed for the link.

●        ToolTip. Tooltip text that is displayed when a user hovers over the link.

Open in a New Window

Select this checkbox to open a new window when a user clicks on the link.

 

E-Mail Address

Select the E-Mail Address button to insert a link to an email address into the text field. Users can select the link to send an email to the designated address. The following fields are available when you insert an email address:

E-Mail to:

Enter the email address to send the message to.

Subject

Enter the default subject for the email message. Users can change the subject before the email is sent.

Display Properties

Set the options for how the link is displayed in the text field:

●        Text. The text that is displayed for the link.

●        ToolTip. Tooltip text that is displayed when a user hovers over the link.

 

 

To access this dialog box

Select   in the formatting toolbar for any rich text field.
