Insert Table dialog box
Use the Insert Table dialog box to insert a table into rich text fields throughout Info Exchange.
Table Size
Columns
Sets the number of columns for the table.
Rows
Sets the number of rows for the table.
Width
Sets the width of the table. The following options are available:
● Full Width. The table spans the full width of the text field.
● AutoFit to Contents. The column width expands to fit the entered text.
● Custom. Set a custom width for the table in pixels or as a percentage of the text field width.
Equal Column Widths
Select this checkbox to make all columns the same width.
Selecting Equal Column Widths in combination with AutoFit to Contents expands all columns equally as you type in a cell.
Height
Sets the height of the table. The following options are available:
● AutoFit to Contents. The row height expands to fit the entered text.
● Custom. Set a custom height for the table in pixels or as a percentage of the text field width.
Layout
Cell Padding
Sets the interior margins of each cell. The value is applied equally to all sides of the cell.
Cell Spacing
Sets the cell spacing value.
Alignment
Sets the alignment of the table within the text field.
Appearance
Border Color
Sets the table border color. Select an option from the drop-down list.
The values displayed represent the hexadecimal color code. You can manually enter a hexadecimal color code if desired.
Border Size
Sets the table border width.
Background Color
Sets the cell background color. Select an option from the drop-down list.
The values displayed represent the hexadecimal color code. You can manually enter a hexadecimal color code if desired.
Accessibility
Select this checkbox to set additional table parameters:
● Headers. Select a position for the table headers.
● Caption. Enter a caption for the table headers.
● Summary. Enter summary text for the table.
To access this dialog box
Select in the formatting toolbar for any rich text field.
