Choose Parent dialog box

Use this dialog box to make a project timeline milestone, phase, holiday, or scheduled task part of another phase, making the phase the parent of the item. Select the phase from the list, then click OK to create the relationship.

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

●        Select a timeline item from the Project Timeline activity center Log view, then click Set Parent > Another Timeline Phase from the Related Items tab.

●        Click Set Parent > Another Timeline Phase from the Related Items tab of the milestone and phase dialog boxes accessed from the Project Timeline activity center.
