Import from Spreadsheet Template dialog box

Use this dialog box to select an Excel spreadsheet template from which to import settings into a project.

Project Template

Click the button to locate and select the Excel spreadsheet template whose settings you want to import into the new project.

Project Number

If you are importing data from a project or accounting system, enter the project number in this field. This project number can be used with embedded SQL statements in the template selected in the Project Template field above. Project Center will execute the SQL statements and populate the new project with the data from whichever fields are specified in the template. To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

●        Select a project from the Project Center Administration activity center Projects tab and click Project Utilities > Apply Spreadsheet Template from the Tasks panel.

●        Choose the By Importing a Template Definition option and then click the icon from the Create Project dialog box or the Create Template dialog box.
