Rename Custom Keyword dialog box

Use this dialog box to rename a custom keyword for a project. This is beneficial for instances of capitalization and spelling errors.

You cannot rename an existing keyword to the name of a keyword that already exists in the Project Center database. If you enter a keyword that already exists, you will receive an error message.

To rename any standard keyword from the Project Center database, you first have to open the relevant global keyword list in the Project Center Administration Activity Center Keywords tab and remove the keyword from the list. You will then be able to enter the new version of the keyword in a Keyword field anywhere in Project Center. The assigned keyword will then become a custom keyword in the Project Keywords activity center.

To access this dialog box

Select a custom keyword, then click Rename Custom Keyword from the Tasks panel of the Project Keywords activity center.
