Log an Incoming Transmittal dialog box
Use this dialog box to file and track an incoming transmittal that you received either as a hard copy, via email, or Info Exchange. The primary benefit of filing an incoming transmittal is to add it to the log of received information to have a record of it. The transmittal is logged in the Project Transmittals activity center.
To
Click to open the Choose Project Team Members dialog box to record who the transmittal was sent to. The current user is entered by default. You can also type email addresses directly in this field.
CC
Click to open the Choose Project Team Members dialog box to select who else the transmittal was sent to. You can also type email addresses directly in this field.
From
Click to open the Choose a Project Team Member dialog box to select the project team member who sent the transmittal. You can also type email addresses directly in this field.
Subject
Enter a subject for the transmittal.
Purpose
Select the purpose of the transmittal from the drop-down list.
Date
The date the transmittal was received. You can edit the date.
Received Via
This list contains the available transfer methods. Select the method in which you received this transmittal from the drop-down list.
Transmittal ID
Project Center enters an ID for the transmittal. You can edit it.

Keywords
Click to open the Choose Keywords dialog box to apply keywords to the transmittal.
Click to spell check the fields in this window. If any mistakes are found, the Spelling Check dialog box opens with spelling suggestions.
Log Transmittal
Click to file the transmittal. It will be logged in the All Received log of the Project Transmittals activity center.
To access this dialog box
You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

Click Log an Incoming Transmittal from the Tasks panel of the Project Transmittals activity center.

Choose Incoming Transmittal from the File a Transmittal dialog box.

From Microsoft Outlook, select an Outlook item , then click File As, from the Project Center Add-in for Microsoft Outlook Toolbar, select a project from the Select a Project dialog box, then choose Transmittal.

Select a Received Transfer, then click File As from the Tasks panel of the Info Exchange activity center and then choose Transmittal.

Click Receive Pending File Transfer from the Tasks panel of the Info Exchange activity center, then choose the Record this Transfer as a... option from the Receive Pending Transfer dialog box and then choose Transmittal.
