Views button

Click to select whether to display file information as Large Thumbnails (large pictures of the files), Thumbnails (small pictures of the files), Icons, a simple List, or full file Details. You can also switch the Preview pane on and off and set its position for most windows.

The Project Email activity center has an option called Auto Preview that toggles between showing one or three lines of an email message.
