Edit Building Elements Extended Property dialog box

Use this dialog box to create a new extended property for building elements.

Group Name

The name of the group to which the extended property belongs. You can edit it.

Property Name

The name of the extended property in the Building Models and Elements activity center. You can edit it.

Default Value

Enter the default value to apply to this extended property.

Options

Show in Log View

Mark this checkbox to add the field as a column in the Building Models and Elements activity center.

 

To access this dialog box

Select a building element property, then click Edit from the top section of the Edit Building Element Extended Properties dialog box.
