Modify Building Model dialog box

Use this dialog box to edit a registered building information management (BIM) model in Project Center.

Name

Enter the name of the BIM model.

Author

Click to open the Choose a Project Team Member dialog box to select the author of the BIM model.

Members

Click to open the Choose a Project Team Member dialog box to select the project team members involved with this BIM model.

Model File

Click the button to locate and select the source BIM model file you are registering.

Disciplines

Click to open the Choose Disciplines dialog box to apply disciplines to the BIM model.

 

Description tab/Supporting Documents tab/Email Log tab/Related Items tab/Change Log tab

Refer to the Building Models and Elements activity center for a description of these tabs.

Keywords

Click to open the Choose Keywords dialog box to assign keywords to the BIM model.

Click to spell check the fields in this dialog box. If any mistakes are found, the Spelling Check dialog box opens with spelling suggestions.

 

 

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

• Select a building model, then click Modify from the Tasks panel of the Building Models and Elements activity center.

• Click View or Modify Project Center Building Model from the Newforma Project Center drop-down list in Newforma Project Information Link.
