Project Change Log dialog box

Use this dialog box to view the events that have occurred in the current  Project Center project.

Click to toggle between viewing your events and the events for all users.

Categories

• Choose All Project Administration Events to list only events that involve project administration.

• Choose Recent Project Administration Events to list only the most recent 100 events that involve project administration.

• Choose All Events to list all project events, including administration events.

• Choose Recent Events to list the most recent 100 project events. Be aware that choosing this option could take some time to load on large projects.

Filter All Columns

You can filter by any text that appears in any of the columns. For example, if you know the name (or part of the name) of the event that you are searching for, enter at least part of the text in this field. The list updates automatically as you type. For example, if the event you are searching for has the number 30 somewhere in one of the columns, enter 30 in this field. The list will be narrowed down to only events that have the number 30 somewhere in one of the columns.

 

Click to toggle between showing and hiding the column filter fields.

Clear

Click to clear all filters.

 

Columns

• Double-click an event to open the Event Details dialog box to view details about the event.

• Right-click on an event and choose View Form to view its form.

• Right-click on an event and choose Close and Select in Log to close the dialog box and go to the event in its activity center.

• Other options are also available by right-clicking. The options depend on the type of event selected.

Date

The date the event occurred.

Event Type

The type of even that occurred.

Item Type

The Project Center item type.

Project Item

The name of the item.

By

The contacts involved with the event.

Detail

Any details about the event.

 

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

●        Click the icon from the title bar of most activity centers.

●        Right-click on a project from the Project Center Administration activity center Projects tab, then click Project Utilities > View Project Change Log from the Tasks panel.
