Discussion dialog box

Use this dialog box to add discussion items to the discussion log for project items.

 

Date

Enter the date and time the discussion took place. The value defaults to the current date, but you can change it. Select the drop-down arrow to access a calendar popup.

Author

Select the author of the discussion item. The default value is the current user, but you can change it.

Action

Select the action taken on the item from the drop-down list.

The action selected here is for information only and does not affect the status of the item.

Remarks

Enter any details about the item.

Send change notification email

Select this checkbox to notify team members that the item has changed.

 

To access this dialog box

        Select Add on the Discussion tab on the Action Item page or  Punch List Item page.

        Select the checkbox for one or more punch list items in the Punch List Items log and select Add Discussion to Selected Punch List Items.
