Permission Sets
Project Center administrators use permission sets to create and manage access for all Info Exchange logs. Permission sets determine which items are displayed for internal and external project team members for each Info Exchange log. These permissions apply to all projects on Info Exchange.
Configuring Permission Sets
Permission sets also control which actions internal and external users can perform for all Info Exchange logs. If you do not have permission to perform an action, it will not appear as an option in Info Exchange. For example:
● The Finalize, Delete, and Add Similar buttons only display if you have the proper access in your permission set.
● The Finalize button (Daily Reports and Site Visits) only displays if the current user has Close privileges.
● The Delete button displays only if the current user has Create privileges OR if they are the creator of the item.
● The Add Similar menu item displays only if the current user has Create privileges.
● The Model Views and Spatial Index logs display only if the current user has Show All visibility for these activity centers.
For more information on creating or configuring permission sets, refer to the Project Center help topic titled: Project Center Administration Activity Center Permission Sets tab.
