Contracts Log
Use this page to view the contracts that are assigned to you for the current Project Center project. Click the subject of a contract to view its details in the Contract page.
To only see contract actions assigned to you, select the My Contract Actions log. To only see contracts which you are expecting or are expected from you, select the My Expected Contracts log.
Your ability to view contracts depends on your permission set assignment.
Contracts
Use the Contracts drop-down list to filter the list of contracts by category. The categories are as follows:
All
Click to display all contracts that have been entered for this project.
This page is only available to Project Center users that are Financial Managers and have the Show All Permission Set.
Pending Incoming
Click to display all contracts sent via Info Exchange that need to be received. When a contract or contract response is logged by a project team member on Info Exchange, it will show up in this category.
Under Review
Click to display contracts that have been received, but responses have not been sent to the contract senders.
When a non-expected contract is first filed, it is placed in the Under Review category.
Awaiting Action
Click to display contracts that have been received, but they:
● Have not been forwarded for review, or
● Have been forwarded for review, but a response has not been received, or
● Have been forwarded for review and all responses have been received, but there has been no response sent to the contract sender.
Forwarded
Click to display contracts that have been forwarded with a due date for another contact to review that have not been received back yet.
Response Overdue
Click to display contracts that have been forwarded but the responses back from the reviewers are overdue.
Expected
Click to display all contracts filed as expected.
Late
Click to display expected contracts that are late.
All Closed
Click to display contracts that have had a response sent to the contract sender and there is no further action required.
Columns
Overdue
The icon indicates that a contract item is past due.
ID
The ID number of the contract.
Client Contract Number
The number for the contract given by the client for tracking (only needed if it is different than your contract number).
Subject
The subject of the contract. Click to open the Contract page.
Original Commitment
The original committed dollar amount of the contract.
Original Start Date
The original start date of the contract.
Original End Date
The date the contract was supposed to end.
Forwarded
The date the contract was forwarded, the contacts the contract was forwarded to, the status, and the purpose of the contract forward.
Received
The date the contract was received by the contact the contract was sent to and the name of the contact who sent the contract.
Response
The date the contract review response was received, the contacts who responded to the contract, and the status.
● Respond - Click to open the Send Contract Response page to respond to the contract item.
● Markup and Respond - Click to open and mark up the attached file in the Newforma Web Viewer. Once you complete the mark up, click Send Response to respond directly from the Newforma Web Viewer.
Closed
The date the contract was closed and the name of the contact who closed it.
Supporting Documents
Displays the number of supporting documents associated with the item. Internal users can access all supporting documents. External users can only access supporting documents that have been shared with external users.
There are two possible icons that may appear in the field:
Select to view the list of files attached as supporting documents. Select the link for a file to view it in the Newforma Web Viewer. If the filename is not a hyperlink, select the icon to open or save the file locally.
Upload Supporting Documents
Use this area to add supporting documents to the item.
This option is only available for internal (Project Center) users.
Add Files
Select to open the Choose File to Upload dialog box and select a file.
You can select multiple files using standard Windows Shift and Ctrl selection techniques.
Remove All Files
Select to remove all files selected for upload.
Drag-and-Drop Files Here
Drag and drop files directly from Windows to add them to the list of files to upload.
This option is only available if your browser supports the functionality.
Upload
Select to upload the files to the Supporting Documents field.
Select the image to send a request to the owner to repost the files. This occurs when the transfer item has expired.
Related Items
Displays icons for any project items related to the selected item. Click in the column to access the Related Items popup window, shown below. Select the hyperlink for a related item to view its details.
Tasks
Click to view a list of additional actions that you can take on the contract.
If a column is not visible, you can add it to the Contracts log by clicking the Show/Hide Columns button to access the Field Chooser.
Log Page Tools
The following tools are available in the Contracts log toolbar. For more information, refer to Log Page Tools.
Export
Select to export the items in this log.
Show/Hide Column Filters
Select to toggle on/off the column filters.
Show/Hide Group By Panel
Select to toggle on/off the group by panel.
Show/Hide Columns
Select to access Drag to Change Columns to add or remove columns from the log grid.
To access this page
Click View > Contract Management > Contracts from the Toolbar.
