Save PDF as Workflow Action dialog box

Use this dialog box to save a .PDF file to a contract management item as part of an action. The .PDF file will be added to the contract management item's Files Received tab and the action will be added to the item's actions list.

Enter a Filename for the PDF Attachment

You can edit the name of the .PDF file.

Save the PDF and:

Select the type of contract management item to save the .PDF to from the first drop-down list and the next action to take from the second drop-down list.

Select the Associated Contract Management Item

Select the contract management item to add the .PDF file to from the list.

Filter All Columns

You can filter by any text that appears in any of the columns in the log. For example, if you know the subject (or part of the subject) of the contract management item that you are searching for (or the ID, status, due date, etc.), enter at least part of the text in this field. The list updates automatically as you type. For example, if the item you are searching for has the number 30 somewhere in one of the columns, enter 30 in this field. The list will be narrowed down to only items that have the number 30 somewhere in one of the columns.


Click to toggle between showing and hiding the column filter fields.


Click to clear all filters.



Click to save the .PDF to the selected contract management item and log the action. The dialog box that opens next depends on the action selected under the Save the PDF and: field.


To access this dialog box

Click Record Workflow Action from the PDF Options panel of the Newforma Viewer.
