Document Control/Record Documents Overview

Record documents are created in the Project Center Document Control activity center. Info Exchange users can view the most recently issued version of each project document through the Document Control/Record Documents log. In addition, packages of record documents can be created in Project Center and shared with Info Exchange users via the Packages log. Packages are a convenient way to group record documents together for easier management, sharing and download.

Before Info Exchange users can view record documents, however, the Project Center user must decide which documents to make visible. The following diagram walks through the decisions that need to be made about record document visibility.
